Our Ministries
Ministries are created to give Christian's more outlets to serve God. We have several ministries available to handle that. Our ministries are listed below. We encourage all of our church members to participate in the a ministry or ministries of their choice. We are always looking forward to having new members onboard to be a part of our mission. So, pick out a ministry you are interested in and get started!
Christian Education
The Christian Education ministry is important because they are responsible for supplying our Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and other educational activities with materials to teach our members about God.

Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry is dedicated to ensuring that our visitors feel welcome in the Lord house. This is very important because for some visitors, it may be the first time that they have ever visited a church. This ministry is also responsible for the upkeep of the interior of the building, because the first impression is a lasting impression.

Matron Ministry
The Matron Ministry is a organization for the women of the church. This ministry is like a sisterhood where women can fellowship together and learn God's word. This ministry also helps with different missions throughout the community and within the church. They work closely with the youth department.

Mission Ministry
The Mission Ministry orchestrates with all the other ministries to ensure that we are providing services for the community and within our church. This ministry is dedicated solely to outreach iniatives, working with all the other ministries within the church.

Music & Arts Ministry
The Music & Arts Ministry is responsible for the musical aspects of the worship service. This deals with all the choirs within the church. Those choirs are: Senior Choir, Male Choir, Youth Choir, and Inspirational Voices. They also work closely with other musicians within the church and other music ministry leaders within the community.

Pastor Aid Ministry
The Pastor Aide Ministry works closely with the Pastor of the church to ensure that the Pastor admininstrative, financial, and spiritual needs are met.

Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry works directly with the youth of the church. We have youth workers who teach the children during Wednesday Night Bible Study. We also have incorporated The Senior Red Circle and the Crusaders youth organizations at our church. The Senior Red Circle is a youth organization for girls ages 13-20. The Crusaders is a youth organization for boys ages 13-20. Children under the ages of 13 are called Sunbeam. In these organizations, counselors teach the children bible lessons and life lessons as it relates to the bible and God's purpose in our lives.

Usher Ministry
The Usher's Ministry helps to maintain order during worship service. This includes seat arrangements, distribution of church bulletins and financial envelopes, and assistance for individuals with disabilities.
Responsible: Bessie Goodson (Adult), Cassandra Morris (Youth)
Creative Dance Ministry
Our Creative Dance Ministry allows our members to express God's message through the use of body language. Currently, we have 1 youth dance team, but will soon expand to 3, including a primary dance team and an adult team. We perform to a wide variety of contemporary christian music.
