Why God Chose You

Ever wonder why God chose you, even when you have not been your best? This is God's way of showing his love for you. What's interesting is that even when we are going through things, God is still showing us favor. He has our lives already mapped out the way he wants things to go. God doesn't put more on us that we can endure. Think about the last time that you went through something. Didn't things work out? when God takes us to the next phase of our lives, we must acknowledge him.

As is reads in Galestians 4... "4) But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, 5)to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. 6)Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, [a] Father." 7) So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir."

So, as a child of God, you walk in his grace and mercy. For this, we acknowledge his, praise him, and do good works in his name. Being a part of a church helps in this endeavor. In church, we receive more knowledge of God and we also are "refueled" by his word to carry us through our daily lives.  This is so important, because we deal with things of the world everyday.  So, to answer the question above, God chose you because you chose him. Aren't you glad you did?

Who Belongs in God's Church

There are several reasons why some people don't go to church. Some reasons are boredom or a lack of vision at the church they are attending. However, one reason that is a misconception, is that the individual doesn't feel worthy to be in God's house. God doesn't require for individuals to be perfect to grace his doors. Church is where people go to be restored, repaired, and renewed.

Church should be home to you. This is where you surround yourself in love with your fellow brothers & sisters. Church is where you get the fuel to get you through those difficult times through the week. It's where we go for refuge and safety. God designed the church for this reason and this is why everyone belongs in God's church.... even you.  Make a sacrifice today to make church your home.
